Wrap It Up

As a style blogger, it’s in my job description to take fashion risks. Sometimes they don’t work out -and you end up looking unflattering and sloppy.

And then sometimes, you hit it out of the park on a completely unexpected garment.

When I first saw the Wrap Pants I wasn’t sure, I’ll admit. The stylist in me cringed at the thought of extra bulk around the midsection – do I want that as a plus sized lady? No! But I ordered them out of curiosity.

They arrived on my doorstep just a few days later, and I couldn’t wait to pull them out of the packaging and give them a try.

Holy guacamole!

Not only are they flattering, but the fabric is also light and airy and perfect for our 100 degree summer days. I love how the draping hugs my hips and creates a v-shape to elongate my torso, and the tie doesn’t add bulk at all to my midsection. Just gorgeous. I especially love the legs – the fabric is truly wrapped, so sit with caution! They can look a little racy, but are perfect for a night out. I paired them with a fun crop top to show off the details of the pants and a simple cross body bag and sunnies.
