Finding a romper that fits well and looks good is like finding a needle in a haystack. The planets have to align and all be covered in glitter while a unicorn trots on by, singing a Britney Spears tune.
Needless to say, I haven’t been keen on plus size rompers. That is, until I found this one at City Chic (which I now own in two colors, btw). The fit is incredible – the top is flowy and light, there’s a drawstring to define my waist and the shorts are short — but not too short. And, to top it all off, the Hawaiian print is genius. Bigger on top to balance out the volume the style has, while smaller on the shorts to flatter my hourglass (leaning toward pear) shape. Love love love. Hands down, this is my summer essential.
I paired my romper with my new Gucci wedges – the neutral print and espadrille wedge makes them the perfect item to pair with just about any outfit. And then, to amp up the color, my neon Rebecca Minkoff mini was perfect. I know neon yellow can be a hard color to work with, but in this case it amped up the print on the romper making it look even more summery and fun.
As you know I’m a fan of hair extensions. I love how within 5 minutes, you can completely change your look to suit the season, your outfit, your mood… all without damaging your own hair. In today’s post, I’m wearing custom extensions I had made with a company here in Phoenix, Custom Kreations. They were awesome – I met with them and told them exactly what I was looking for (long, glorious and a natural ombre) and within a week or two they were ready for me to pick up. If you live here in the Valley, check them out!
