3 items, 6 ways
When you work hard for your money and you finally treat yourself to something fabulous, you want to make sure you can wear it in as many ways as possible. I’m such a big believer in finding at least 3 ways to wear every single item I bring in to my closet – so I teamed up with Gwynnie Bee to show you 2 of the 3 ways to wear these items! I hope this inspires you!
And of course – if you want to see these items in live action – head over to my YouTube channel – I’ve got a video lookbook for you to check out!
ITEM 01 : Casual Jeans
Jeans are a staple in every woman’s wardrobe — and to be fair, I have no idea how many pairs of jeans I have. It feels like hundreds at this point, and I’m always on the hunt for another pair! For this first look, I took the jeans and make them totally weekend ready – paired with a slouchy tank and kimono, this is perfect for brunch with your babes.
Next, I took those same light wash plus size jeans and made them party ready! With a bright, coral peplum top, you’re ready to steal the spotlight!
ITEM 02 : The Palm Print Skirt
Ahh, this skirt. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it on the Gwynnie Bee site! When the box arrived and this little number was folded up inside of it, I squealed and put it on Snapchat. I die! The first way to wear it – and the way I’ve worn it most often – is with your favorite crop top. I punch up the playfulness of the palm pattern with hot fire neon orange.
And then came the challenge: can you really wear the same skirt to party and to the office? Yes, ma’am, you sure as hell can! Paired with a light airy blouse, this skirt becomes perfect for work.
ITEM 03 : The Romper
I think rompers are the perfect vacation items. As easy to pull off as your favorite dress, but with a bit of a more polished vibe. I loved the beachfront vibes I was getting from this one, so I styled it as if I had taken it with me to Malibu — one last beach getaway before the end of summer. First up? I threw the romper on over a swimsuit – for when you need to make a popsicle run with your girls.
And lastly, for your run of the mill tourist-y days when you’re soaking up the sights. Paired with your favorite wedge espadrilles, a chic backpack and a panama hat, you’re ready to see everything the city has to offer. Don’t forget your camera!
I hope this post help you find outfit inspiration! There are so many fun ways to make every single garment your own. Try as much as you can and make it work, mama!
